KS600/250 roller mill, 7,5kW + 5,5kW
KS600/250 roller mill, 7,5kW + 5,5kW
The roller mill is used in flour milling. It is used for splitting-up and milling grains. The structure of the roller mill is simple. It consists of a steel frame construction, or 1 or more pairs of rolls depending on grain size of the mill product. The more rolls are in the mill, the less size fraction of grain will be at the end of the milling of the product.
It is very effective, because the width of the surface of the mill is little, therefore the rolls does not work unnecessarily, therefore the mill can work with high capacity. Thanks to the toughened frame the rolls have long life. The grain is crushed and shredded depending on forming their frame. Beside it there is a cutting-shearing effect which results that a lot of grits with unified grain size and a little flour and semolina will be created.
Because of the simple operational principle, only the V-belts to drive the pair of rolls are wearing accessories, therefore the maintaining charge of the machine is negligibly low. The rolls are strong (550 Brinell), therefore they are almost as strong as a bearing ball therefore if they are operated normally, they can be used for years without quality deterioration.
The roll mills needs less energy than the other types of mills. During long operation it results remarkable savings. The noise level of the mill is low and the operation is more silent than any other type of mill.
There is dual significance of crushing. The homogeneity of mixing can be provided by crushing and it makes the digestion of feed’s nutrients easier. In the farm animals swallow a part of grain without chewing therefore a part of the cereals that have been eaten by animals as hard food excretes without digestion in the faeces of animals. The experiments referring to utilizing prove that digestibility improves by increasing crushing. A proper average size of grain is the basis of mixing feed components, which have different shape and size, and of constant homogeneity. Nevertheless, animal species do not like the feed that is ground finely because it sticks to the roof of the mouth and moreover the feed gets the air easily that irritates animals to cough and it can cause respiratory disorders.
The roll mill is a grinder in which there are grooved metal rolls with surface workout, which are facing each other turned with different speed.
Some grain (wheat, corn, rye, barley, etc.) or another semi-prepared grist is loading into the gap between the pair of rolls that turns facing each other. Grain or grist is ground because of the difference between the peripheral speeds of rolls. 2 pairs of rolls are built in KSH grinder; the top pair that is made with rougher knurling is for pre-grinding. The other pair is with finer knurling for second working.
By using this technology it is possible to grind from fine to rough grain size in order to the ground material should be homogenous.
Assembled with high quality 3 phase asynchronous motors (IP55 protection class)
By using an automatic feeding system, handling gets simpler. The system controls the amount of the material that is to be ground therefore maximum capacity is provided. Roller mills are driven by geared motor.
Mechanical grain size setting, which helps operators to adjust the distance between rolls (fine adjustment) without grades.
Assembled with permanent ferrite magnet, which prohibits metal material to get to the rolls. In this way the lives of the rolls increase.
Safety spring, if some extraneous matter gets into the machine, the safety spring provides quick opening of the rolls avoiding the irreversible destruction of the machine.
High-quality bearing and bearing blocks are built. To grease them is simple and quick through greasing outlet.
The rolls are made of strong steel cast with surface layer hardening (500-550 Brinell) therefore their lives are long.
