The economic hopper bottom silo is the smaller version of the commercial hopper silo. It is an ideal solution for smaller and average farms to store grain or feed. It is a perfect solution where charging and discharging occur frequently. The solutions for quality, technology and installation refer to this type of silo, too. The grain storage silos are available with diameters from 4,58m to 11m and with capacity from 110 m3 to 1,78 m3 in galvanized design (450 g/m2). This type of silo is used as a transit silo which is suitable for charging lorries. It is assemblied on a heavy-duty steel mounting with traversing height 4,5m but it can be changed depending on the demand of the costumer. Discharging can be with a manual (with a wire rope), an electric or a capacity control.

The capacity is counted on the basis of the following density: wheat 800 kg/m3, corn 721 kg/m3
